The reds are all over the place here. I don't think I've ever seen a black one.

We have tons of grey squirrels here in RI. I used to see black squirrels in Myrtle Beach when we used to golf down there. I've not seen red ones.

How fun to see a colorful new visitor! Hope there are more and they weren't just passing through

Thank you, Linda. I've recently started building birdhouses. Now I'll definitely make one geared to bluebirds. Just starting one for flickers, since I've spotted a couple of them in the neighborhood.

The reds are much smaller than the greys but more aggressive. I've seen several red vs. grey face-offs
on my deck rail. The grey always backs down.

After 30 years of living where I am, This is the first time I've seen an Eastern Bluebird at our feeders. The starling has been here before but it's been years. These were all shot through 2 panes of glass with my Canon SX720 P&S. The squirrel is a regular.

there's that bluebird again...they must have a nest close by. do you feed them suet ?

Nice work on these, Dennis! Never have seen a bluebird here, almost thirty five years and counting, despite the feeders that we have out. I know they're spotted around the area, just not at my house, lol. Excellent shots!
