Does anyone know how to get your pictures seen by buyers? I started posting a bunch of mine on EyeEm.com (look up Mary H), which is good. I have followers, (mostly ameteur photographers like myself), from around the world. Are there any other sites like this one?

Try creating or have built your own webb site and also start a Facebook page in the same site name as your site, you can link this to your own Facebook page and reach as many people as you like.

3 Put your name on every free search engine you can find.
4. Get your name out there.
5. Make it a fun thing.

When you get year domain and web site sign off with your domain like I do ( www.snapshots2010.com ) I have 15 domains all going to one site until I use them in other places. Facebook would be your best bet, use you name then your domain name on it. It free you can get a domain for .99 a year at godaddy.com always use .com . Smugmug cost me $40. year been on it for 5 years, they help you get your name out there others do not.
It will take time its not over night thing, I been playing on the wet for 10 years, and a lot of money down the drain. So take it for what its worth. www.billybobnoveltyphotobooth.com DON'T use a name this long, short and sweet like www.bbnpb.com That's all my bull for today.

There is Adobe Stock, which may require a Creative Cloud subscription. I find it rather well structured for ameteur photographers. But, I'll let each make their own deductions.

Community craft fairs can be a good place to show your work. Small items sell good. Have gift cards printed and other small items that you can sell for a couple of dollars. It can be a beginning for local business.

Nat Geo. has a place to post your photos.
Kind of fun to do. Most comments are likely those robot responses we heard about but some are actually real and meet people from around the world.

www.500px.com.

I just registered and paid $17 for the rest of the year. 500px is probably the one that offers the photographer the highest payment if a picture is sold.

Furthermore, there's a hire section where you present yourself for clients looking for a photographer.
