Thanks. I do know the advantages of Lightroom over ACR and use it as a front end to PSCC. However there are some people that don't see any advantage using LR and do all their processing in PS.
I'm one of those guys, used to have LR 5 but could not find anything it had that I could not do in PS (which I already had), so I got rid of it and I'm back of using PS only (and I'm a happy camper)!

While I believe Lightoom is a better process flow option than using ACR in PSCC, I understand that many people like yourself prefer ACR. This shouldn't be a contest between which approach is better, as some try to turn this into. Rather, we should all be happy with the flexibilty of the alternative process flow choices that Adobe gives us with Bridge, Lightroom and PS. We can use the tools we believe work best to reach our PP goals.

Thanks Neilhunt for your three photos of the Taj Mahal. I hope you don't mind that I took the first one and put it into Bridge, worked it over, then into PS and worked it over and am now presenting it to you. Please let me know if it looks not so good, ok, good or even great!

Wow - pretty good. I used the LR perspective adjustment controls to make the towers vertical before I cloned the tower, and to my eye, your cloned tower on the right looks to be slightly leaning - but the color and contrast look great!

Thanks for your analysis of my version of your photo. I didn't even check the tower for being vertical before cloning it to the other side. That goes to show you something: Never assume! lol

LR and Photoshop are like 2 different tools, like a hammer or a screwdriver. Each tool has a different usage.

When my Clients ask me which they should buy, I use an explanation that an Adobe expert gave me a few years ago:
"Photoshop is the shop. It has everything. Lightroom is a room in the shop. Elements is a collection of tools in the room."
That they seem to understand quite well, and out of the 100+ Clients who have proceeded to purchase/subscribe, not a single complaint.
