Buffalo Bayou Park is a city park on the near west side of Houston. It covers 124 acres on both sides of Buffalo Bayou, along Memorial Drive and Allen Parkway. The park is popular with hikers and bikers and with just about anyone who enjoys getting out in some unobstructed open space where they do not have to worry about coping with traffic. Comments welcome and I hope you enjoy.

#1 Houston skyline from the park. Mid afternoon light was not the greatest, but it was what I had to work with.

These are very nice images, but I expected to see a buffalo.

The flowers give me hope that spring will reach the east coast eventually.

Thank you very much Bill for taking a look and commenting. Sadly, buffalo are but a memory around here. For some unknown reason they all migrated to Buffalo, NY.

Nice shots, I was in Pearland last year, but working at the convention center, on my days off I went to Galveston and downtown Houston for the bats ( thousands off them under the bridge) Is that the bridge in the last shot?
