Old sugar mill outside of Koloa on Kauai...not safe to venture inside, however, tour during Old Koloa Days in July is interesting.
Very pleasing photo, good composition, but a bit over saturated.
I've been there--nice photo!
Nice photo. I was there two days ago, did you get photos of the old trucks also? Interesting cloud formations. Did you take this from the parking lot through the fence or did they allow you inside the fence? We never get tired of Kauai and the many photo opportunities it provides.
Hi Lagoonguy...I took that through the chain link fence along the property line at the entrance road to the mill. I took pics of the trucks on hill to the left of the mill, too, but haven't done anything with them. I'm heading back to Koloa this coming July. It will be our 6th time there---our favorite of the Hawaiian islands. When in Maui we stay in Lahaina...have lots of pics from there, too. Looking forward to more picture taking, especially in Allerton and McBryde Gardens, just down the street (Lawai Rd) from where we will be staying. Also, the cat boat to Napali Coast. Thanks, Pix-Syl

We have been visiting Kauai for 26 years. We were at Allerton this morning. Great place. Aloha and thanks for the information.
