This IS the Post Processing Forum, so this is purely for fun.
Did the flower move? Prove it!
The first image is the original w/o the Download; I didn't want to make it
toooo easy.

Suppose I didn't tell you? Could you prove it? The Original was only to show you that it did move.
This was posted for the Pixel Peepers, if this isn't fun for you ... don't bother with it.

OK, What is your proof? What I am asking is this ... If I did not show you the original, would
you know the plant was moved? If so, what would be your proof?

After modifying an image, it is a good idea to flip your colors and pass it
through a USM filter with a large radius to catch areas that need further attention.
That way you can check the whole image at a glance without dropping to the pixel level.

The USM check will not work in every case but it is a quick and easy test requiring no effort.

You caught me. Actually, you made my effort to hide the move look pathetic! Good sleuthing. What is a USM filter and which PP program is it in? BTW,
I like that surrealistic image of the tree by the lake. That image looks strangely familiar :-) Thank you. OH, I too am a proud Pixel Peeper.

most PP programs have an unsharp mask function but i don't have any so
i use the one in the FastStone image viewer.

I just wanted to know what the heck you were doing up at that hour. I was getting ready to go to school where I
volunteer teaching 5th grade math.

I hope you aren't poisoning fragile young minds with that vile new math
the weirdos on the west coast are forcing on their children.
I get the cold shivers just thinking what would happen to research, industry, and
financial institutions if that gibberish were to spread to American communities.

The Unsharp mask in ELEMENTS doesn't give me anything that resembles what you show - exactly what are you doing ... and with which program? I have ELEMENTS , LR-6 , and ON1.
