Just wondering - does anybody have a rough estimate of how much it is costing the taxpayers for the president to go to his golf resort just about every weekend? I don't understand why his supporters don't say a word about this waste of our money when they would have vilified any Democrat if they had done this. Don't talk about Obama's trips to Hawaii - that is a totally different situation because of the difference in frequency. We don't have money for "Meals on Wheels" but we can fly Trump to Florida with his entourage of staff and secret service protection just about every weekend and that is fine with Trump supporters. Take the blinders off and stop swallowing the Kool Aid!

It costs approximately $3 million for Air Force One and SS protection for each weekend he goes to Florida. So that's 8 weekends X 3 million = $24 million so far. That's only federal costs. There is additional costs to taxpayers in West Palm Beach Florida. Then, you can add $1 million per day for security costs for Melania and kids to stay in Trump tower in NYC - which would be about $60 million so far.

So, 2 months in, and this rich, entitled, spoiled grifting family has already cost taxpayers upwards of just under $100 million in the first 2 months.

Obama did not even take his first vacation until 4 months into his presidency. Trump, after lambasting Obama every time he took a vacation, promised that he would "rarely leave the White House", and "would not go golfing because I will be too busy."
