Went for a stroll last night and was amazed that the birds didnt fly off when I pointed my new camera at them.

When photographing ducks, swans etc,to get the best shot, lie down and take the picture from their perspective. I always wear suitable old clothes that I don't mind getting a bity dirty. perhaps its not the most convenient way, however, the resulting images will be much better.
I would have preffered a shallower DOF to isolate your subjects. Pics seem to a be a little 'over saturated' can't really believe that the grass really was that colour(number 3).

Tony, superb shots. I have just 'tweaked' one for you! What do you think?

Thank you Norman, I quite agree about the low level being better, I will wear older clothes next time. The grass was very green, we had just had three days of rain.
Thank you Cecil Yes the two ducks were underexposed by about 1.5 stops, but they looked so cute. I was just pleased to get the focus right.
