I took several ocean landscapes and tried to stitch them to make a panaroma photo, but couldn't find the proper editing choice.

Is stiching realy in Elements 9?

Please help. Thanks.

Welcome to UHH. It's in PSE 10, so should be in PSE 9.

In PSE 10 you have to open the multiple pics in the Editor and then use File/Photomerge to make a Panorama. It is pretty simple from there.

Here's one I took last week.

(PS: I see after posting it needs a little work. I tried some fill in on the upper right and didn't do it good. But it still illustrates a Panarorama so I'll leave it here.)

Get Canon's Photostitch. It works so much better than Elements and faster.

Right. I should have mentioned that. I use either that or my Sony, with in-camera pano mode. The last time this topic came up, I recommended Photostitch, but there was no where to download it. There were links, but no way to download. The program comes on the disc you get with a Canon camera.

Hugin is a free (open source) panorama software and makes the process fairly easy. For the most part it is automated, the pic here was done with default settings, all I did was load the 5 pics to it and clicked a button. It did all the rest.

This is a 5 shot sunset from last week...

I have used Photoshop Elements since version 2 and now have 9...someone told me about Scott Kelby's books sometime back and I have found the a great resource since I started using them.....I have been able to get more out of Elements since that time.

Here is a link to Amazon:

Here's a better one. Still working on Haze removal.

MtnMan, go up to the Search under UHH Forum and click on it, type in heat removal and then choose How to remove heat haze. There are several postings for haze problems. You should find the answer in there.
