The only caves I have ever explored were in Florida (Crystal Cave) where we went scuba diving into a cave and found where salt water met the fresh water. It was absolutely amazing to see the clarity become haze and the visual trickery that occurs when you stick your arm from one atmospheric condition into the other. There were the typical limestone formations there too and I saw the biggest family of Channel Catfish (and I do mean big as in large... nearly 30" or more on average).

I've seen videos of that. Amazing!
