Superb work,dsturr! The textures in this image are amazing. And the shades and hues are spot on. Reminds me of An Awakening, the big morning stretch,the big yawn. The background is the perfect complementary color to the yellow. Impressive!

The background was kind of mottled so I replaced it using more or less the same color that was in the original focus stacked shot. Plus a vignette.

Great DOF, detail, colour, and focus. I really like the lines here. I think I'd like to see it with the original background. Somehow the flat background makes this looks fake to me. That's just MHO, and I'm all about reality anyway.
