This was an uncomfortable morning on UHH.
I usually spend a couple hours on UHH in the morning with my coffee. Bit different today and didn't spend as much time.
Yesterday had a procedure call 'Vaporization of Prostate'
No photos - Supposed to be healed within next two weeks but intense burning while urinating because the procedure was done through the penis with a tube and laser. Male diaper is absolute necessity right now.
Supposed to eliminate 'incontinence problems' after a bladder cancer operation which also was done through the penis resulting in a weakened muscle.
The 'Golden Years' ain't like they say they are.
So having to take a few days off from running around taking useless photos only I can enjoy.

Sarge, I wish you a speedy, and complete, recovery.

I feel your pain . . . I had robotic prostate cancer surgery Monday and now I'm laid up with a catheter for a week and probably a diaper for a while after that. I'm miserable but hopefully it will pass. Just been on uhh pretty constantly since I can't do much else. . .
My God, Sarge, I hope you're alright.
Sounds like you took a beating there, and understandable the situation.
Hang on dude, get well and hope to see you back in the field soon.

Good Luck- Had implants and radiation SEVENTEEN years ago for prostate with absolutely no side-effects- it came back 6 years ago and have been getting hormone injections quarterly since then---AGAIN with no side effects ------and all seems to be Good----so I wish you the same results [except, of course, the "Romance" will be gone from your life---]-------Get well!!
Oh dear, Sarge. I was cringing as I read your post.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

feel you pain... had a kidney stone taken out via the same way maybe 10 years ago... much better than having to pass it normally... just went through an extensive prostrate biopsy in the hospital.... all clear.. big relief ... numbers were not good before that hence the biopsy... hope you heal quickly Sarge and get back to snapping soon
Best of luck on your recovery Sarge. And you are absolutely correct, getting old aint for the faint of heart!

I think it was gleaned from a Post here on UHH---
You have to get "aging" right the first time as you don't get a chance to practice!

May you have a fast recovery.
Sorry to hear about your health situation and wishing you a painless, speedy and most importantly, full recovery!
Hey guys,
Had a prostate biopsy for nothing. After biopsy was completely negative I was talking to urologist and with a 8 on the blood test he asked if I had sex recently. I said yes and he said 'Six will push the numbers up greatly'
You need at least a week between sex and a prostate test.
Oh Oh

Pictures are not useless if they bring enjoyment to you.
My best wishes to you.
