I searched in the "search" section for info on Induro tripods but found nothing specific to what info I need.
Have any Hoggers had any experience using an Induro tripod? More specifically, an Induro CLT404L Classic Series 4 Stealth Carbon Fiber Tripod.
Feedback is appreciated. Thanks

A friend of mine had an earlier Induro tripod that the leg star screws got loose on and couldn't be tightened. I believe if he got in touch with Induro they would give him a new star and screws to resolve the problem. I understand a lot of people had this problem with the older tripod. Since Induro took care of the problem and they don't sell new tripods with the same old problem, I give them a thumbs up. They cost less money than Gitzo and seem to be about as light and as strong as the Series 3 Gitzo. I have a Gitzo and you can't beat them. But they are pricey.

lindmike I have an Induro GHB1 Gimbal Head... The build quality is very good and it worked for an entire summer shooting...
That said it only works well if you have a lens with two attachment points otherwise the lens will rotate loose if held by a single mounting screw/bolt.

The positives here are a good worth/value ratio for the price...
The negatives? The resistance could not be dialed in with a high degree of granularity...

So at the guidance of several colleague I migrated to a Wimberley WH-200 Gimbal...
The difference is night and day... Wimberley's offering stands head and shoulders above Induro...
Was penny wise and pound foolish not to go with the Wimberley initially...

I do not know anyone using Induro tripods so you'll have to keep searching...
Currently using the venerable Manfrotto 055xPROB (vintage model) while its heavy it's build is amazingly solid... Love it!
It's my understanding that Manfrotto's replacement for the abovementioned isn't at the same build quality...
If you can find a previously own one it's a winner...

That said since I'm migrating to video (client pressure) I've invested in a Magnus VT-4000 Tripod System with Fluid Head...
It's totally awesome! and an excellent value for those entering the brave new world of video....

Hope this helps or is at least food for thought...
I wish you well on your journey lindmike

Sorry about that...I had the AT414 (which was an aluminum model) for several years but sold it and bought the Carbon Fiber CLT104 and I use it with the Induro BHL2 Ball Head. I also have their Monopod AM34. Never had an issue with them. Very good quality!

Thomas902, Thanks for the info. I may just make the big leap to a Gitzo tripod and the Wemberly WH-200.

I have Benro's both carbon and aluminum. I have the slightly shorter version of this one: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1157819-REG/benro_tma48cxl_mach3_9x_carbon_fiber.html
You could save a little money with this one and it's actually taller than the one you're looking at. My Benro's are excellent tripods.

Thanks again, Laura. One more question. What camera and lens do you use with your set up?

When I had the AT413, I had a Canon 7DII with the 100-400mm lens + 1.4 extender. Now I have the Fujifilm X-T2 with the 100-400mm lens + 1.4 extender. I decided to go with the Carbon Fiber model due to the weight.
