Sure does NOT look like a 12g shotgun shell. Maybe a 40mm grenade round?

Interesting.

I watched another anti-drone flick that was a larger drone itself. It would either shoot a net to ground the other drone or shoot the net and have a "life line" attached so it could carry the bad guy's drone back.

they show both in a video - the 40 mm has a larger net

Yes, drones are going to become major security threats - small and efficient. Detecting them will be very difficult.

Yes, I can think of (*) situations where a suicide drone could penetrate defenses which would stop a suicide "bomber" {person}.
