These are just odds and ends from a day with nature.
When dry, the muck bottom cracks into mosaic patterns. Rain water covers these areas and enhances the patterns.

Thank you Annie. I think I can safely say he is not innocent regardless of how he looks. It is so invigorating to be out in the fresh air and see and hear all the birds and other critters.
