I think the cholesterol is in your head. It takes you forever to get a thought across!! You have the body of a 20 year old? Did it die of natural causes or did you help it along?

Hey Nit-wit, here's a thought - Saw your other two mentally challenged pinhead brothers the other day, asked if they were still holding their breath?
Your brother, Half, asked me to to tell you, Dim is hoping for an old-fashioned reunion - just the three of you. Is that where you all get together in one small bed?
I told-em you didn't have time because you were way too busy posting graffiti. They didn't seem to understand, so I told them to check out your posts numnuts.
Definition of numnuts: much lower level than a pinhead.

I just hate it when my computer freezes up. What's it like when it happens to your brain? I have an idea, though, that when that happens your mouth just keeps working, and for as much sense as you make....nobody knows the difference!!!

A few years ago I got a burrito to go from a local eatery. After I paid for it the cashier picked up the tip jar and shook it in front of me. I just laughed at her and left and have never been back.

How can such a simple question cause so much tension here? My God people, lighten up, please.

Not on take-out. But I tip the driver of delivery service well because I used to make ends meet as a courier and know the expenses are high.In the restaurant I tip 15% (never on the tax, that has nothing ot do with the restaurant).

But, to be honest, I seldom dine out anymore. When I heard some restaurants were automatically adding "mandatory" gratuities, some up to 20%, I shrunk back in horror. If I ever find myself in such a place I will refuse to pay a penny in gratutity and never return. Overall, I'd much rather the places pay their staff decent wages so they don't need to rely on tips and if the prices go up 15 to 20%, so be it; at least I know what the cost will be before I order.

If so, how much and when?

We don't have alot of money...especially since my wife's Short Term Disability ran out and she was just terminated....but, I try to tip anyone who helps to make my experience a good one.
Take out or eat in.
If the person is friendly and makes sure that my order is correct....of course.
It's not the typical 15-20%, but I try to make them as happy as what they've done for us.
Conversely, I don't have a problem NOT tipping a waiter or waitress who is lousy.

Tips are for good service. Failure to tip can be remembered, and you may wait twice as long for your take out.

If they would post a sign that said the tips were shared equally with the kitchen help I would gladly toss in my extra change. The people in the back are slaving away in obscurity and seldom get anything extra.
