Bodypod / Carpod for larger lenses sale

This is a sale for my stabilization and large lens support system. I call it a Bodypod. I developed this system when I was shooting with the Canon 300mm f2.8 W/2X. It takes the weight of larger lenses off of your arms and allows great mobility and range of motion - AND, IMO, works better than similar systems I have seen on the internet. It is much easier to carry and manage than a tripod or even a monopod.

I build and/or modify the main parts needed for this system. To facilitate stabilization and control, I recommend including one of my facial stabilizers that fits in the accessory/flash shoe on top of the camera and butts against your forehead.

The basic system consists of a rapidly extendable "pod" that has a camera mountable Arca Swiss tilt head at the top and a tethering strap anchor ring which connects to a neck/arm strap. The pod part allows quick and easy upward extension as the shooting situation warrants. IMO, this is the next best thing to hand holding for wildlife and birds. The pod rests within the receiver belt that straps around your waist. The receiver belt also contains two anchor rings for connecting an optional/additional neck/shoulder strap for added weight control of heavier lenses ( recommended for lenses 5 lbs or more or for extended use times).

The pod part of the bodypod can be used as a carpod when used between the car door and seat and resting on the floor for shooting out the window. The pod part can also be used when sitting/kneeling on the ground, or as a handle and just pressed against your body without the receiver belt for added stabilization. When carrying, I just lock the head at a convenient angle and carry over my shoulder.

The pod is the unique heart of the system. With the shown head it is 22 inches long collapsed and extends to 35 inches ( for birds in flight or airshows) - and weighs 1.6 lbs. The receiver belt weighs .4 lbs. The Pod is made of fiberglass tubing with an internal aluminum extending tube with a phenolic push button extender control. The camera connecting hardware is stainless steel and brass. The pivot head is high grade aluminum.

Prices:
The pod, as shown with i-shoot arca/swiss tilt head - $135
The modified receiver belt as shown - $35
The Facial stabilizer for top accessory shoe - $20
The tether strap - $15
Flat rate shipping to lower 48 states U.S. - $20

Optional shoulder support strap - $15

These prices are subject to change and availability......PayPal preferred. Please check my 100% feedback on ebay

Are you manufacturing them or just selling just one?

I plan on making more than 1 .........though the "production" will be quite limited.
