The 'odd one' is an antlion adult - family Myrmeleontidae. The lavae of these guys, called doodlebugs, are really interesting. They look like something out of a syfi horror show. They live at the bottom of shallow sand pits with just their mandibles sticking out of the sand. When an ant, or other insect falls into the pit, they grab them with long pincer like jaws and suck the juices out.
How cool is that?
