Got my D800 two weeks ago, made 750 shots, ABSOLUTELY love it but - I think I'll wait and see what else is coming. I have to return this to Amazon tomorrow (RA's have been issued) but if you are interested in buying this tonight, call me at 336-416-3821, East Coast hours. I am in central NC.
BE AWARE - the camera arrived with two very small spots on the sensor just above the central focusing point. They are visible specks of dust and they show up on photos with light subjects. If you are comfortable cleaning the sensor then enjoy your new camera. Otherwise it needs a trip back to Nikon. The lens is perfect.
