My darkroom hasn't been used for years now. I need the space, and am willing to give it away. Anyone have some ideas how to find a user who would take it away, gratis. It is complete with sink, enlarger, easel, etc. Los Angeles area.

Ivan, could you elaborate on the items, such as size of sink, make or model etc. as well as the enlarger, along with any lenses that might be with it.
Thanks,
Bob

You could try putting a post with more details in the UHH members classified section.

Possibly a local college that still offers classes on film photography.

Put it on Craigslist in the free section. I had a hard time giving my sisters darkroom away too. Nobody wanted it. Finally her gardener took it.

You are getting out....just as the interest is coming back?
Do a search on film developing and see who is doing it locally. Contact them about your experience as well as your equipment! They might want YOU.

About 12 years ago I donated my darkroom equipment to the high school.

Check with UCLA, they may still have darkrooms?

I found a local place to donate my stuff to from an article in the newspaper.

That's too bad; depending on what it is...you could make some serious cash and someone could get a good deal on equipment. For example each enlarger that I've bought was over $150.00 each and one was $250.00.

I'm looking at buying a jobo processor and those are hard to find under $500.00.

You'd be surprised at what things go for these days.

I've a friend who has a CPP2 he is interested in selling. I'll check on the status of that for you.
I've got 2, but use both, a CPP2 and a CPE.

I'll try to get in touch with him as quickly as possible. Which model are you looking at this weekend?
