At one of the old restored turn-of-the-century villages, each one has a blacksmith shop, and the tools they used seemed cumbersome to use for delicate work but some of the things they made were detailed and beautiful.
Most of the tools were probably forged too. Great Photo. Do you have more from the shop?
The tongs bring back memories i worked in a forging mill back in the seventies here in Pittsburgh we were also called blacksmiths pay was good but the work was hard. Saying hello from Pittsburgh.
Good shots, cwhi1444! We had a friend in Canada who was a blacksmith and also a wood carver. We have several of his pieces here.
