Back when I was a Canon user I found myself unable to take some pictures in museums simply because I didn't have sufficient room using the lenses I had at the time, so I very happily purchased this lens from an eBay listing aptly entitled "When you cannot backup anymore". When I switched to Pentax, this was the one lens I truly missed, so I was glad to discover a Pentax Forum listing for a used-but-new K-mount version.
It has turned out that I haven't actually needed this lens that much, but I've been glad to have it in my bag on those rare occasions when I couldn't backup anymore.
A Pentax user has been asking about super-wide-angle lenses, so I am posting a couple of SOOC images here for him, and for anyone else who might be interested.
Each picture was taken using the 10mm setting; each was taken at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn MI
