Probably the largest display of Pampas Grass I have ever seen in one place, and it was in a back pasture of a horse form. I've never seen it displayed against a dense forest like this before, and the sparring textures just reached out, beckoning attention.

The tangled blades and showy plumes make a dramatic and very appealing photo. Very well executed!

Thank you Carol. I think I was enamored with the tree branches as much as I was the grasses.

Textures for sure - the black tree branches are a great background for the pampas grass. Glad you left some of the green grass in front. I used to have a couple huge pampas grass bushes in my yard when I lived in California, BUT, not that big. I really like your PP with this.

Thank you Rowedean. Now I'm curious ...... I wonder if cows or horses are tempted to wade in and just start chomping. It looks like hay.

Bob, I don't think so, because I remember trying to clean up that corner of the yard and that grass has very sharp edges on the sprouts. It's fun to cut a few and have them in the house in a big vase.
