Excellent. Definitely a hanger.

Thank you very much, tainkc; it's appreciated.
Well, it is probably one of the best lighthouse scenes we have seen on UHH.
Great shot, Rob. Beautiful sky. That's one of my favorite vantage points.

Beautiful photo. Some business might like that hanging on their wall.

Ditto, to what has been said!!!

Robert, you do fantastic work. This Portland Head Light photo is perfect. Would look good as a 20x30 metal print.
I like the shot Rob.

It is not my intention to go against the stream here so I say indeed it is a beautiful shot but if it were mine I would like to correct the strong cyan color result of the blue sky reflecting large amounts of UV light.
This can be done by you or a professional lab can do it for you, it is just a matter of adding red-yellow to the file. Try neutralizing the blue light and see if it looks better to your taste.
The Portland Light, I believe located in Cape Elizabeth if memory does not fail, is competing with the Nubble Light or Cape Kennedy Light near York County as the most photogenic lighthouse in Maine although other sources refer to the Pemaquid Light as the mos photographed one. Regardless they are all beautiful and Maine has plenty of them all over the coast.
I am in full agreement that this shot merits to be hanging on a wall.

I grew up near the Nubble Light (on Cape Neddick, not Kennedy) and now make it a goal to see as much of the Maine coast as I can. I do love our wealth of lighthouses.
