I wanted to say that there are two reasons by which pictures like this one calls attention:
1- The patterns of repetition.
2- The saturated colors.
I would have cropped that wooden post on the right but that is me.

I think to make the colors "pop" I would have shot them from the sunlit side (using a CPL) rather than the shaded side. But that's just me.

Oh I love what you did here - Very nice!
I appreciate the comments, I did shoot from the "Sunny side" but I thought it lacked depth that the shadows provided. It is proof that any picture has its critics both pro and con. I saw a tv special years ago with Gabe Caplan (welcome back Cotter) and a bunch pf inner city kids at the National Museum of Art in DC. They were looking at some abstract "masterpiece" and he was asking the kids what they thought. One kid said that he didn't like any pictures he couldn't understand. I never forgot that kid.
