I won't say this looks better in B&W, but it does look more appropriate. At least that's my thought!

Suits the subject matter in Black and White just fine.
Well taken and processed.

My wife and I were in an old cemetery that had small metal crosses that marked all the graves. It was around noon. It got so spooky and creepy feeling that we didn't stay around very long

Wonder what the metal crosses meant? Noon is the bewitching time in an old cemetery. When you sense something "Spooky" and "Creepy" it is time for you to leave. No telling what might have happened had you hung around till one?

Good decision, Jim

A Stilling Chillness of course; "Death" was everywhere...

I ask questions because I'm interested in the thought processes of others.

In this case, I'm wondering how you decided the composition of this photo.

Why is there a road down the middle of the photo?

How much did the position of the sun determine how you faced when you took this photo?

This was one of those sparkling fall days, perfect temp. quiet and peaceful. About four in the afternoon, made me wonder what it would be like on a cold winter night

Reasonable questions, first of all, I wanted a single subject to get the attention of the viewer. Getting the sunburst over the gravestone accomplished that. The road pulls you into the rest of the image. I spent about an hour on something that I originally thought would take a few minutes. Most of the shots looked cluttered, it turned out to be a fun challenge.

Thank you for those kind words, sometimes I wish I would have had my tri-pod to slow down the shutter speed and make the burst a little more pronounced. Just an afterthought!
