Rising Creek

Several hours earlier this creek was only a trickle. Rain had nearly stopped when I took this picture. Tried color first then B & W to see which looked the best. Used a polarizing filter to enhance the photo. It was some storm that came through today;fortunately no one was hurt in our area.

Personally I am biased, I like the Black and White,
especially when viewed in the download format.
Well taken and processed and no one was hurt.

I'm pretty unsophisticated in what seem to me the fine points of photography, but must say that to my untrained eye they both look good. I am thankful that nobody was hurt.

Thank you Leicaflex. The color photo has its own charm but I also like the B&W in the download a little more. The contrast appears stronger.

Thank you photophile for look'n. I think B&W is better too. Haven't done much in that area since the film days. Appreciate your comment. George

Appreciate your comment Jim. Always enjoy look'n at your posted images. Hope your day is going well. (Sent a response earlier but don't see it in the thread, so trying again. Lighting might have done something to my internet connection)

Thank you crafterwantabe for looking. The more you look at them the more they blend together. If the sun was out the color would be more vibrant but the rain had just stopped. It was fun shooting anyway,.
