High Desert before the storm

Taken with a Canon EOS Rebel X 35 mm. B/W film. Taken in Summit Valley east of Hesperia, Ca
This my first attempt with film since the 1960s. I have a Yashica Mat 124 M that I will experiment with next.
Film was processed by The Dark Room here in Southern Calif.

I remember scenes like that, lived in Apple Valley ('73) for a short time, moved to Victorville, then on George AFB. Loved the desert!

Pretty amazing weather for the high desert. Quite a bit if water in the Mojave River that you don't see that often. Horrible that individual lost his life submerged in his car. But we sure needed the rain. Seems to me the image needs a little contrast added but that just might be the posting on this site.
