Beautifully photographed and pp'd. The soft light and the simple lines of the branches makes #2 the standout for me.

I've been fortunate to shoot these stunning birds from my balcony for four winters. But the apartment complex lawn service just came and "pruned" the tree to practically nothing, so no messy berries around to attract them next winter I fear...

Both are excellent. I am torn between them. I think that the lighting in #1 is great.

Yes, both are excellent. I really like the first because of its clarity and the lighting. Background is nice also. I like the second one because it's simpler, softer (I don't mean focus) and something I'd like to stare at every day.
