Here's another one I took with my S5200 camera. I was to lazy to get the 7D mark 11 out of the trunk. I have this printed at 15 by 30 and it looks pretty good.
Very good picture with your 5 megapixel camera. I still have my Canon G2, 4 megapixel camera which I used to get some good Grand Canyon pictures (North Rim) May 2006. I don't use it any more but I may get it out of retirement just to shoot a few more pics.
That's a great image... in download it's very sharp and well focused from near to far. Don't ever let anyone give you a bad time about how many megapixels you are shooting.
One of my best cameras for image quality, sharpness and color was the Olympus E-1 Pro that came out in 2003. It had a highly touted Kodak sensor and 5.1 Mp. I keep one around, as my experience was the same as yours with prints.
You can buy the E-1 regularly on eBay with low counts and the excellent 14-54 f2.8 lens for about $200 to $250. It's big, but what great images!!!
Love the picture. SW Desert???
Excellently done. I get great looking 8X10 photos from 5 megapixels. You topped me on your image by going 15X30 with the same MP's.
I now always run my originals through rawtherapee and I get much cleaner photos after editing them there. I mainly use tone curves instead of the sliders. Tone curves work better. I've had rawtherapee for years but am just now learning how to use it correctly.
Isn't it a rare view of Monument Valley?
I don't know how rare it is. That sidewalk in the fore ground is right alongside a very busy public parking lot.
I think that it looks great---like you could walk right into it!

Pretty darn good for having only 5 megapixels.

Fabulous composition, Roadsideron! 5MP or 50, it's a great photo.
It looks Damn good to me. I still have my Olympus 5.5mp and use it when in a real hurry.
Great image.

Nice image. Definitely a wall hanger.
Very good Ron. I had a 5mp Minolta Dimage that shot great pictures, it died on me.
Beautiful images, roadsideron! Loved the download, too!
