I like them; they look about right to me. Too many HDR's are overdone and become garish.

Greg: I think for me I feel as though I am there... That I am seeing it exactly as the photos show. The color is good and realistic. Thank you for taking me along on the trip in Tenn....

Just one question. Why did you use HDR on a LDR (low dynamic range) scene? The dynamic range in those scenes are all capable of being captured fully with a single exposure. The HDR process on LDR scenes is a total waste of time and can't produce any effect that standard post processing can. Now if it was 12 noon on a bright cloudless sky I could see the point, but as it is, I don't. Just curious.

Unlike all the other replies, I think the HDR effect is a bit overcooked. But then most HDR's have that issue. They look artificial, some more some less. As a result it's fairly easy to tell when it's been used and hard to keep from overdoing it.

Whatever my opinion counts for, Greg, I think this is a great series. These are crisp photos and are well framed--good photographer's eye.

I love the colors, composition and clarity. Number 1 and number 4 have tree limbs that are a little distracting. Other than that great set of photos. Way to go!
