We have two Angela but neither joined in. Our golden has some hip problems and is up in age. She will be 13 this coming November. The little Pom's legs are to short to walk very far but she is full of piss and vinegar. She is about 9 now. Wife is extremely protective of them. She won't even let me take them to Pet Smart.
Both of ours are rescues. In fact all of the pets we have had over the last 20+ years have all been rescues. Right now the family consists of 2 dogs and 4 cats. Not long ago the ratio was 4 & 6. Our vet LOVES us.

Don, first off... thank you for rescuing.. I volunteered at a no kill shelter for 8 years with cats. And that's how at one time we had 7 cats (one for every day of the week) and our Buster. We were down to 5 cats but sadly last night we had to make that very hard decision to send our Leo over the Rainbow Bridge because he had cancer in his mouth and the past few weeks I could see him going down, so not to let him suffer we did what we had to..... last night and this morning, I did a lot of crying....
I love how your wife is protective of them, but you should be able to take them to Petco.... that's where the pet's go!!! My Buster who is 8, is still a hyper doodle dandy and he loves his trips there!!
I love the breed of both of your dogs.... golden's are gentle giants and they just reek love and your pom must be an adorable fur ball!!! My Buster is a Morkie (malteese/yorkie)
he gets being a mama's boy from his Malteese side and being a hyper doodle nut from the yorkie side!!! But we gotta love 'em all!!
