Been thinking of a themes and trying to express myself with a shots on that theme. Trying to do something different than I usually do. How did I go and how can I improve. I was pleased with this overall. I have a Sony A65 and I used SS 1/160 AP 4.5 ISO 400 and FL 45mm, no edits, hand held. I know a tri-pod would be better but did not have with me and ignore the mark on the wall. These photos are just for me, saw this idea on another site I look at.

It is a little different, but not far off from the work of at least two extremely talented women. Cindy Sherman 4 decades ago modeled for her own photography. At least one of those prints has sold for a couple million dollars since then (it set a record at the time). If you haven't seen her work, definitely worth Googling for a look!
A more recent example, though not nearly as famous yet just as academic with a Master of Fine Arts and a professor, is a lady more dear to my own heart. Erica Lord is related to people here in Barrow that are close friends. Do a Google search to find her facsinating photographs of herself as many things. You can check out my web page at
http://apaflo.com/ericalord/ to see the real world Erica (through my lens rather than hers, which is no less an unreal view). There is a clickable URL there that goes directly to her web page. Trust that her images, no matter how outwardly humorous, are dead serious.

Excellent, Karenn! Brings out lots of emotions!
Thanks for your interesting information. I have looked and agree what wonderful women and works.
