There has not been a lot of sun in Ljubljana of late. Yesterday, Friday, was to be cloudy with a few scattered showers. Apparently scattered showers means persistent rain that turned into snow at night. Today was the Carnival parade. The day dawned glorious. Full-bore sun. Blue sky. No clouds. Will post photos of the parade later. Still working on them.
While wandering went through the outdoor market. The flower sellers are clustered alongside the Cathedral for the most part. It may be chilly in the winter but in the summer they get the least direct sun which, I assume, is not good for cut flowers. Most of them are still bundled for purchase.
Lovely colors. Where do they come from this time of year? Or are they green house grown?

Will have to ask. I would guess some of the tulips come from The Netherlands. It is only about 2 hours and change by plane.
Beautiful, I love the last six where the frame is wall to wall blooms. All very nicely done.

Thanks. A friend is a jigsaw puzzle hobbyist. One of those final six could make a very challenging puzzle.
The flowers and colors are gorgeous; sounds like you had a wonderful day.

Thank you for commenting. The weather was spectacular, made all the more so because Friday was miserable. Will post photos of the parade and other shots later. Lot of post-processing to do.

Nice flower photos.
Thanks. Something about flower sellers outdoors rather than in a florist shop that makes the flowers more appealing.
Aaliyah the pictures are nice but I do like number five.

Thanks. The fifth photo is the sort of thing one needs to see after ten straight days of clouds and rain. That is one that could be a crazy-making jigsaw puzzle.
Thanks for a very beautiful series!
