Day 157 - Photo A Day Challenge - 6-5-2012

Welcome to Day 157 :) Today it's all about the Sunsets. I realize that this day will definitely involve some archives .. so don't feel bad going there. I really look forward to seeing the gorgeous sunsets from all over. Here are a few examples to get us started.
This one was taken 6 years ago in Maui .. that is my grand daughter in the silouette

No I did not stay up just to beat Loguey. It was one of those sleepless nights. Here are two I took on Sunday and a few from the archives. Some are from a series called Skyscapes. Loguey I have a thousand more of these shots so any comment about the number posted will result in a saturation of orange and red images.

Taken just a few days ago.
This was taken on Christmas night 2011.
Taken the same night as the Eclipse. Taken out of the window at 80mph.
My memorial day sunset.
Not sure when this was taken.
Last one for now, will add more later.

Thanks, here in the Rockies we get some colorful sunsets, and most are taken just outside my apartment. I really like your sunsets, the trees add some perspective I don't have.
