One of the members had posted several photos of an old house and another of an old barn. got me thinking about an old barn I had shot several years ago with my D300. It was a grey type of day and the photo didn't look all that great. But post processing in LR and PS brought it to life. So I thought with all the discussion here about PP I would share this for the member review. I would add that the barn is no longer there so you take what you can get when the opportunity arises...
The first photo is right out od the camera. The second one is PP...

Wow! I like this photo. Yes I'm for post processing, but I am still in the early learning stage for photography. There is a lot to it and I admire those who are mastering it. Thanks for sharing this.👌

You really did good with this shot. Old barns are disappearing at an astonishing rate. When you find them, take the time to get the shot. Barn board scapers are forever asking for the lumber. This also shows what a 12 mp camera can do in the right hands. The D300 was known for its improved color and reasonable shutter lag. A lot of nice work has been done with that camera.

Very nice. Old dilapidated barns are fun to shoot. Like what you did and also appreciate the same shots in monochrome. Bravo Zulu!!
Excellent shots of a barn with a lot of history. Just look at all the old barn wood that you could make so many things

Yes, a great old barn subject. Nice minimal PP, a try at B&W conversion might have been nice too. At perhaps a different time of year shooting with an infrared converted camera could have proven to be interesting. I sometime shoot old wooden weathered buildings with IR. I use ACR with Ps usually, pretty much the same results as Lr with Ps I would think.
nice picture. really broken down
Good shot and good pp, blue-ultra!
