Victorian High Country, Australia.

Karenn Loc: Sydney Australia.

This area is a favourite place of mine to visit. We have had four 2 week holidays here over the years, camping, sightseeing and 4 x 4 driving with family and friends. As you can see it is a magic place, worth repeat visits. We have gone back to some favourite spots but each visit has been to a new area experiencing wild horses, mountain huts, views, drives, challenging tracks. I will post more on the huts later as they are very interesting in themselves. **** (I had trouble tonight) There were many photo's in portrait view that rotated to Landscape that I wanted to post. I had to delete them. Does anyone know why. ???

The sunlight shots through the trees are really, really nice. I liked the two vehicles fording the stream as well. Thanks for sharing. Goodday to you!

Why didn't you just rotate them back to portrait?

Just think, Karenn, what you could do with the full frame, 42 mp, A7Rii camera instead of the DSl 300! Good shots, just kidding. It is a budget discussion of some magnitude and shifts from dslr to digital leaf shutter but an excellent camera by all repute. I'd like one to travel with but wayyyyyyy too expensive.

Thank you for those shots. As a Aussie who grew up in Melbourne and who hiked many of those areas (about 60 years ago, am now 94 years old and my hiking days are over) it was an nostalgic experience for me to see those views. I am living in Raleigh, NC with a strong interest in photography in my retirement years.

I have the newest A65 still a Sony because of all the extra expensive lens I have. It was just easier to keep to the same. Wow that looks impressive and so out of my budget.........dreaming now..
