Near Lightning Ridge the Pub in the Scrub and Sheepyard Flat and well know places to go for a drink out in the middle of no where. The prices are high but the food is good with local home made pies and hardy meals. The wether gauge in the pictures below is a bit of Australian humour. There is a rock hanging and the sign above explains the weather conditions, being the rock is wet - rain, the rock is swaying - windy etc. The old trucks and wrecked cars are a regular sight and make great photos. The large head structure is above the pub sign and made from anything scrap. Hope you enjoy a bit of bush Australiana.

Very awesome Karenn!! I love to see what some folks come up with. I have never seen an underwear tree. They must be very rare!!!!

Would have enjoyed seeing some of the patrons of the club, they must be a rather eclectic group! However, I did enjoy the photos you posted as I, too, like to look for unusual subjects.
