Looking for feedback and suggestions. Which photo is more pleasing to the eye? Suggestions for better lighting? Taken in Fort in San Juan.
Thank you for viewing.
I prefer the second one. Her stepping off to the side creates some mystery as to where she's going, and the image is straighter. Nice work.
What jaymatt said! Nice image.
I prefer the first, though would like to see it straightened just a little. The figure draws the viewer into the succession of arches.
Thanks all. I thought I had straightened it before uploading but evidently not?

I love both of these images but the first one is very pleasing to the eye!
Like them both. Each transmits a slightly different feel in the posture and position of the woman. Both need straightening, a thankless task that seem to be made more difficult when cropping. Excellent eye for composition on this one.

The first is a nice shot - but needs to be straightened to the left. It has good depth, leading line. And eye appeal. The second is OK but would be more effective if the subject was walking toward the camera.

I just love the first one. The red is just enough to contrast with the white, good work.
My vote is for the first image. Like the way it kind of leads you down the "tunnel".

The photo is not balanced, there would be some potential with a tighter crop but you cut the right side of the photo out. JMHO
Thanks to all who responded. Always good to see what others see.
I hope you don't mind my version, you have a good eye.
Thank you so much Chuy! I love it done this way. My sister-in-law and I were taking the same shot but she waited for the woman to get out of the way. I thought she added something to the picture. Your alterations are perfect!

She is the picture, so glad you like the alteration.
