I made this yesterday . . . lots of leather, Chicago screws, and a Peak Design Capture camera clip. The pouched area on top accepts the long foot of my Tamron 150-600 tripod mount, and the Capture camera clip will take the tripod mount on the bottom of my camera.
That's very good craftsmanship! The different colored leathers makes it look nice.

Looks OK as long as Bianchi doesn't file a patent infringement suit......
Without the camera it looks like bondage gear. Is this dual purpose by any chance?
You are gonna hand hold that big lens and shoot it? Looks like a good rig but how quickly can you release it to use? A backpack camera bag might do just about the same thing but not be as unique looking. I have one of those shoulder straps and don't like the camera banging around when I walk so your rig would be way superior. Nice job tho I'd like to see how it works in practice.

That's some fine looking leather work and a great sense of practical application.

I thought it was the straps for the electric chair for a second.
Nice workmanship.
The long mounting foot on my long telephoto slides in and out very easily, and the other camera clip releases with just the push of a button. I'll most likely use it while walking and hiking, and carry a tripod or monopod with me. Haven't tested it out on the trails yet cause we have several feet of snow, but it works fine walking around in the house. I've not done it yet, but I know many wildlife photographers routinely shoot the long lenses handheld, especially when shooting birds in flight.

Impressive! Looks like beautiful craftsmanship!
The real problem is what to do with the chair.
