Thanks for posting. I usually use auto-bracketing, but I've thought about doing something similar to what he's doing. I like using the histrogram as he does, as this will give your bracketed shots more detail that you really want for HDR. I'm anxious to try out the technique.

Well done. I prefer realistic HDR rather than the surreal. In most cases, if I want a surreal look, there are lots of effects that I can do that are easier than bothering with punched up HDR. I'm glad to see people using HDR for what it's really meant for.
