A while back someone posted a beautiful photo of a yellow iris on a black background. Sadly, I do not remember who did the photo. I asked permission to paint it. The photographer said yes. Well, I've started the painting. So far so good. It's not far enough along to show, but I'm working on it. I'll show it when I'm through.
