Anhinga Swallowing a Fish

It is amazing to watch an anhinga as it works to swallow a fish that it has speared. It can sometimes be seen beating it on a limb if it is a large fish. But never doubt that it can get it down.

It's amazing how they can get such a big fish down without choking. I wonder how long it will be before he needs to eat again. Great shots.
