Welcome to Day 156 :) Today it's all about Sunshine and Shadows... and how they work together to bring depth to a photograph. Of course we can't have one without the other .... but if you really stop and pay attention .. you will be amazed at how much beauty we take for granted everyday. Here are a few examples to get us started... I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

If I am to post a photo today, it will have to be from my archives. there will be no sun today nor will there be any for a few days according to the weather forecast. This shadow picture is an old one of my husband, David!when David was 21 years old, many, many years ago. He was a university student, posted in Germany with the RCAF[Royal Canadian Airforce] for the summer. A cadet in the reserves. He 'thirsted' for adventure. This is called 'shadowy memories of the morning after'.

Sherrie...love the steps and arches...cool topic.
Sometimes I find it very difficult to shoot in these conditions. Did it most of day yesterday and it was pretty tough...cloudy and rainy today so no shadows.
