I'd been noticing that bird feeder was emptying faster than usual...the black bandits were hitting every morning. Taken thru a dirty window .

Love those birds, so much better to have them than my Robber Starlings that raid my suet blocks! The Red Wings fascinated me as a small kid...there vocalizations immediately throw me back to hot afternoon exploring the swampy areas around my home, getting muddy shoes & usually falling into the waters. I can hear the sounds & smell the smells... thanks so much.

Look at all those red winged black birds! Wow! Good shot, even though it was shot through a dirty window, Hoosier in GA! :)
