Worry beads ...... an old Greek or Cypriot custom, running beads through the fingers to relax a person. I didn't know that until I just Googled it. I wanted to know how the topic title applied to the images.

These came from an artisan market in Florida years ago. I've not resorted to them -- but close a few times.

B&W is such a powerful medium and you used it so well with this image. WOW, love it.

Thanks robertjerl. rlaugh, Snap Shot and roder10 for commenting. The storms along East Coast have been playing havoc with my satellite internet, creating complete outages or periods of extremely slow services. I'm restricting my uploading to when we have normal periods.l

Very well done. One of the most extreme (and effective) examples of the difference between color and B&W. While the hand is obviously not that of a youth, the first thought that jumped at me was how the B&W option took the 'moisture' right out of the subject and added years to its interpretive view. Simple but profound.

Careful here! That's my hand, LOL. I did get it to age a bit in the B&W PP.
