Eyefi SD cards

Eyefi have been bought by Toshiba, the replacement app is called "Keenai"
This app simply does not work, photos are downloaded but that's it.
It is virtually impossible to view the downloads in any photo gallery.
I have 3 Eyefi cards which are useless and only any good for storage, what a waste of money.
Are there any other UHH members who agree with me.
MY ADVICE IS: DO NOT CONSIDER BUYING AN EYEFI SD CARD THEY ARE USELESS.

If you try the Keenai app you may well experience the same problems.

I have a new phone and when I went to Play Store to download the Eyefi app I was directed to the Toshiba app called "Keenai".
This is how I discovered that Toshiba had bought Eyefi and renamed it to Keenai some months ago.
Any photographs which are transferred to Keenai can be opened within that app but although the photos can be viewed, that's it, they cannot be edited, copied or moved. Also I cannot find where the photos are stored in the gallery, Eyefi images used to be filed in an Eyefi album from where you could do anything with them you wanted.
Fortunately I can still use the Eyefi app in my old phone so I must see if I can transfer the Eyefi app from one phone to the other,
I have contacted Toshiba but there has be no reply as yet.

I use a EyeFi MobiPRO card. Use it everytime I go out with camera, works well.

I bought it because my wife wants to see my images as soon as I take them. The EyeFi card wirelessly sends a copy to a tablet, large enough to really see the image, and is SOOC. I still use the card in the intergal card reader to download for processing and storage. But now the wife is happy. We often hike with reasonably large groups of friends. After the hike, over a social meal, we can share via Bluetooth, off the tablet to fellow hikers' cell phones.

It is a tool, it does what it does quite well, no it is not the ultimate magic accessory we would like. It hasn't improved my photography, it hasn't convinced flighty birds to come closer and pose for me, but it has improved my marriage life, "happy wife - happy life".

I used to use my Eyefi card in the same way but now it is not possible to download the Eyefi app to another phone or tablet.
Now you're diverted to an app called "keenai" which does not work like the old Eyefi app.
So don't lose the app if you try to download it again.

I have updated. Keenai works fine on my Samsung Tablet and my Nexus 5 cellphone. I suggest you Uninstaller the applications, reboot you device, reinstall, and hopefully find all is well. Good luck!

Thanks Uxoeod, I might try your suggestion, I will use a different phone though, just in case.
