This is a picture of the Grand Canyon I took several yeas ago. When taking pictures of the Grand Canyon it is hard to get a clear shot without the haze because of its enormous size.
Sorry I only have this JPG. It was taken before I knew the value of RAW using one of the first Canon Rebels.
You have until midnight, Thursday ET to post them here then we'll turn it in for a vote.
Have fun interested in seeing what you come up with.
Added structure with Nik Viveza, then took some away with a touch of Topaz Simplify watercolor. Also added "sunlight" filter (glow and warmth) from Nik Color Efex. Fun shot, but crikey, how scary where those people are standing!

Nice contrast and lots of saturation.

I've always liked the Grand Canyon wearing orange, even if I have to re-dress her.

Ji, My take. Gary
Selective: dehaze, white balance, sharpening, various color saturation tweaks. A bit of global leveling
for #1, selected in ps the front most hillside, changes using levels, selected the remainder, used levels and saturation. Then sent through efex pro2, hdr using one image hdr. selected sky and reduced the saturation. Slightly sharpened entire image.
for #2, topaz lab on #1 image, detail, soft looking.
Not sure either helped, but was fun trying.
I was surprised no one had gone black and white. S-

I tried it and didn't think it helped the image. Yours looks better than mine for sure!
