This is only the second one of these birds that I have ever seen. This was at the Waco Wetlands and was selected for January in their 2017 calendar.

Thank you very much Pat. The Waco Wetlands is close to China Spring and Waco if you know the area. I go there often to shoot photos. It is open 7 days a week although on Saturday & Sunday you need to use the pedestrian gate. You can walk the whole area. All types of wildlife can be seen there if you just happen to be at the right place at the right time. If you would like directions just PM me.
