I stopped watching pro football after Goodell failed to properly respond to Koepernick. Now counting the days to college kick off.

February is a great month to catch up on reading, plan your next vacation, design this year's vegetable garden, go to a museum or aquarium, theater or concert, flower & garden or home show, get creative in the kitchen, clean up the workshop, go out and take photos. My favorite activity at this time of year is watching hockey games.....Go Bruins!

Baseball spring training starts in a few weeks. Only 7weeks till the start of the 2017 season. (How did 2017 happen-- just a few weeks ago it was 1990)

February is always the time to start to reload some handgun and rifle ammo. I just went from PSE 7 to PSE 15. Just ordered some materials to get better acquainted with PSE 15. Also will have some time to work more in depth with my P900. If we are lucky enough to continue with this mild winter, I shall spend more time outdoors with my P900, and three youngest grandkids.

Taped the Superbowl (sans halftime and commercials); have watched it 3 times. Set for another afternoon of being excited...again!! The umpteenth time will never be enough - or, I have the entire 3 Stooges video collection. Hmmm....

What's always been number 1 in my book is hockey, NHL is a great sport. I just can't seem to get enough, been a fan for 50 years. GO RED WINGS.

Being a Patriots fan I have no issues with a lack of football as I am and will be in a state of euphoria for the next year....ohmmmmmm.

It matters not to me--I've never followed football. As for what to do? I have music activities with both church and college groups, and will be traveling to Australia and New Zealand in a short while on a tour. Retirement is fun!
